Skating lessons for Siao Him Fa started in Bordeaux around 2005 or 2006.

He studied with Valerie Sou, Cornelia Paquier, Nathalie Depouilly, and Laurent Depouilly when he was a youngster.

Due to the non-functioning ice rink in Bordeaux, he began his training in Toulouse in 2011.

He made his debut as an advanced novice in March 2013 and won the French novice men’s title the following year, in March 2014.
